New Learning Zone in James France

Have you seen the lovely new Learning Zone available to students in James France D0.03? 
Facilities Management in collaboration with IT Services are delighted to announce the opening of the Student Learning Zone in D.0.03, James France Building. This is closely located to the James France exhibition area, and is available to all students between 8.00am – 6.00pm, Monday – Friday. It is accessed using a University staff or student ID card and contains three distinct zones:
  • Individual Zone – containing 12 PCs and a networked MFD to enable printing, photocopying and scanning to email
  • Comfy Zone – containing sofas, a data projector and writing surface
  • Group Zone – containing two interactive whiteboards with connected PCs, two group tables and flipcharts

The space is non-bookable and has been designed for informal use, and has an award-winning wireless network capability. It is supported by the Facilities Management AV Technicians. If an equipment demonstration/training or support to upload the interactive whiteboard software onto a laptop is required please email or alternatively call (01509) 222199.
