Just a quick note to let you know that the International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS) is now hosted by EBSCO and looks slightly different. It still provides access to abstracts and details of quality journal articles, book chapters and reviews in Sociology, Economics, Political Science and Anthropology since 1951. It also links to the full-text where available. You can also sign up for email and RSS alerts to save you repeating searches on a regular basis.
If you had IBSS as a favourite or bookmarked, please note that you will have to delete the old favourite and add the new link.
To find out more about IBSS, there are some useful helpsheets on the IBSS website, including one on how to use the new interface (sheet available from 11th August).
To link to IBSS from campus, please go to Metalib and either search for IBSS or browse to your subject category. To link to IBSS from off-campus, you will need to use your Athens username and password and either go to Metalib or link from here.
